STATEMENT of FAITH
- GOD:
- We believe in God as Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe that each Person of the Trinity has His distinguished duties:
- God the Father: He is the first Person of the Trinity; Creator of the universe; Almighty; Merciful; Just; Holy; Eternal. He loves the Human being, and provides the utmost care of His Creation and is the Loving Father for His children.
- God the Son: He is the second person of the Trinity, the Everlasting Word, and Redeemer of mankind by His incarnation, being born of virgin Mary through the Holy Ghost.
- God the Holy Ghost: He is the third person of the Trinity; Almighty; equal to the Father and Son; witnessing to the Truth; convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; glorifies Christ; witnesses to God’s just judgment; teaches; counsels; keeps; sanctifies; and strengthens believers, dwelling in their hearts and leading them to all the truth .
- The holy Bible (Old and New Testaments) is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16).
- The Holy Ghost enlightens the faithful reader’s mind to explain the spiritual truths in these scriptures so they become a living truth in their life.
- Are the only authority in faith matters.
- CREATION:
- We believe that the creation happened as the Bible described it, that it is literal and not metamorphic; that God created heaven and earth (Gen.1:1) and that He created Man in His image and likeness (Gen.1:26).
- SATAN
- He is real and was created holy with utmost heavenly authority, but because of his pride, he failed, and came under God’s judgment, he is the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. He is a liar and the father of every liar and leads people to darkness and evil. His destiny is in the Lake of Fire with his angels.
- Man was created in a righteous and holy state, but because of his disobedience he failed willingly God’s commandment. As a result, all human beings became sinners, and fail to seek the glory of God.
- ATONEMENT FOR SIN:
- Being sinners separated from God under His judgment, God prepared salvation for all mankind through His Son, who by Himself purged our sins by delivering His body on the cross.
- BELIEVING AND REPENTING:
- Believing and repenting are two essential demands for salvation, and they are two graces which the Holy Ghost works in the human heart and convicts him about sin. If man responds with true repentance and real confession to God, and heartily believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, then he will receive an assured salvation.
- It is an interpretation of the preceding clause (Believing and Repenting) that New Birth happens in a way beyond our expectation and imagination. It is not by knowledge or education or behavior, and not by man’s work. It is only by the Holy Ghost. The proof of the New Birth is by the appearance, in good conduct, in a new life.
- BELIEVER’S ASSURANCE:
- We believe that salvation is granted by the grace of God, and is eternal. The Christian born of the Holy Ghost will not face The Judgment, but is held by the hand of the Father and the Son, and by grace He dwells.
- JUSTIFICATION:
- We believe that the Justification is one of the Gospel’s blessings which Christ assured to all who believe. It is granted to us not according to any act of self righteousness but only through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- SANTIFICATION:
- Sanctification is a work of grace. It means to set apart the believer for the purposes of God. The believer thus privileged becomes sanctified legally before God. Therefore, he must live in this state keeping away from the impurities of the flesh, Satan, sin and the world.
- We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and consists of baptised believers coming together to worship, witness and serve God. Willingly united under Christ authority. All are priests, saints, kings and chosen.
- The local Church is a part of the body of Christ extended all around the world, and consisting of all true believers.
- The Church is Christ’s representative on earth, so she has to represent Him very well. She is the world’s conscience and example, and serves with love to lead people to salvation.
- The Church believes in two Ordinances:
- Practicing baptism by total immersion under water which symbolises the death, burial and resurrection with Christ.
- Practicing communion which is the remembrance of Christ’s death as atonement for our sins. The bread symbolises the body of Christ broken for us. The cup (contents) symbolises the blood of Christ shed on the cross for us. These two ordinances have no salvation power, but we do receive spiritual blessing when we obey the Lord by practicing them.
- AUTHORITIES ORDERED FROM GOD:
- We believe that the Authorities are ordered from God according to the holy scriptures, and the Church‘s role is to pray continuously for them, obeying the law by giving its loyalty to them, so that we may live a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence.
- GLORIFIED FUTURE:
- We believe that God, in His proper time, will end this world regime when the Lord Jesus returns according to His promise.
- We believe that the second coming of our Lord will be first for the Church Rapture and then to the appear with His angels, so the lovely Church must be holy in conduct and godliness, looking forward to, and hastening the coming of the Day of God.
- We believe in the Christ’s reign literally established on earth and all believers will reign with him, meanwhile Satan will be bound so all nations will live in peace for a thousand years then the judgment will come.
- We believe in an eternal life where all righteous live in the new heaven and the new earth, while the evil ones suffer an eternal punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone.
